Vanir Construction Management Inc. today announced that Cheryl Humann, P.E. has been promoted to Colorado area manager. Humann joined Vanir in April 2016 as a senior project director and has been the acting area manager for Colorado since that time.
Vanir Group of Companies Inc. today announced that it has named Esmeralda Peña as its new director of Human Resources and a member of the company's senior executive management team. She will be based at the company's headquarters in Sacramento. Peña will provide overall planning, management and direction of human resources functions, including recruiting, hiring and retention strategies; benefits; employee compensation and recognition programs; and employee performance review, appraisal and management.
Vanir Construction Management, Inc. today announced that Gregoria “Gigi” Moran has joined the company as marketing and business development manager in Arizona. Moran will work with Arizona Area Manager Jennifer Frost to create strategies to attract new and retain existing clients.

Vanir recently celebrated the ground breaking of the St. Paul the Apostle New Learning Center and Gymnasium.  This $14 million project located in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, includes 36,000 SF of new construction adjacent to an active school and worship facilities.

The new building will house San Francisco’s police administrative headquarters, the relocated southern district police station, a new fire station (Station #4) for the San Francisco Fire Department, and staff vehicle parking.
The Hayward Unified School District Measure I Bond Program has won the 2013 Project of the Year award from the Northern California Chapter of CMAA for projects over $100 million. Vanir was honored at an awards ceremony held on April 25, 2013 at the Concord Hilton.
